Whale and dolphin watching in the 2023 season: Enjoy an unforgettable experience sailing in search of majestic whales in the impressive Pearl Archipelago. During a moving tour of approximately 2 hours, we will explore the waters near the Pacheca, Chapera, Bartolomé and Viveros islands, accompanied by an expert bilingual guide.

Our tour includes a visit to the exclusive Sonny Island Resort, where you can enjoy a relaxing full day. This complete package offers a delicious lunch, refreshing water, cold tea and welcome snacks to delight your palate. In addition, you will have access to bathrooms and showers for greater comfort.

The tour will be available during the weekends, from July 15 to October 1. The departure will take place at 7:30 am from the Flamenco Marina, and the return is scheduled from Sonny Island at 3:00 pm.

We wait for you at 6:30 am at the Fuerte Amador Resort & Marina, located in Flamenco, Amador, Panama City. Check-in closes at 7:00 am.

Remember that the ferry leaves at 7:30. You can use Google Maps, Waze or Uber to find the exact location of the Fuerte Amador Resort & Marina.

Observations:

  • Don’t forget to bring your original passport or Panamanian ID.
  • It is not allowed to bring coolers or food to the island.
  • A 100% view of the whales cannot be guaranteed, but there are many possibilities, especially to spot their backs. In case of not being able to observe the whales, you can still enjoy a day at the beach, delighting in the crystalline waters of the Las Perlas archipelago on the Island.
  • The boat should not approach less than 100m from dolphins or less than 250m from whales.
  • The sighting may not exceed 30 minutes with the same group of cetaceans.
  • Swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving, or any activity that involves interacting with cetaceans in their habitat is prohibited.
  • Circular movements around an organism or group of organisms are prohibited.
