Contadora Island is one of the most famous and visited islands of the Las Perlas archipelago, located in the Panamanian Pacific. Here, fishermen can find a wide variety of marine species that inhabit the depths of the sea.

Among the possible catches that we can find in the waters of Isla Contadora, dorado, wahoo, sierra and mackerel stand out. All of these species are large and powerful predators, making them challenging prey for sport fishermen.

The dorado is one of the most coveted fish by sport fishermen for its size and fighting abilities. It is a fish with golden skin, with great strength and speed, which can weigh up to 30 kilos. The wahoo, also known as the “dog tooth”, is a predatory fish that inhabits warm waters and can weigh up to 60 kilos.

The saw is another of the species that we can find in these waters. It is a predatory fish with great strength and speed, which makes it a challenging prey for any angler. Finally, the sailfish is a sport fish par excellence, since it is a large and beautiful fish, with an elongated dorsal fin that makes it unmistakable in the sea.

You can find us every day on the public ramp in Diablo, Panama.

The tour lasts 8 hours, leaving at 7:00 am to Contadora Island. Once the boat arrives at Isla Contadora, you can divide your time snorkeling and enjoy the crystalline waters of the pearl archipelago or head directly to the fishing areas.

Return

The boat begins its return at 3:00 p.m. in order to be at the dock at 5:00 p.m.
